The Anam - Brochure

Along Mui Ne’s honey-hued coastline, the Anam cascades gently towards the azure waters of the East Sea. Incorporating the graciousness synonymous with Vietnamese hospitality, The Anam collection presents the latest luxury resort adding a sense of old-world charm, romance and nostalgia.

It requires a unique identity that can be applied to a variety of media platforms, one that will be appealing to parents with children.

Goal

Design a brochure for any resort you intend to visit in the near future.

Objectives: Create a brand identity for the resort and make the brochure visually appealing with the right imagery.

People who seek an escape from their daily routines and desire to experience the world differently.

Problem to solve

It can be challenging to select the right resort. Choosing the right resort requires time and research, and one must ensure the resort is not overcrowded and fits within the budget.

How might we design a brochure with detailed visuals that highlight the top-notch experience customers will get when visiting the resort?

Process

As part of Anam’s project, research was conducted to understand the concepts behind designing a resort brochure and the types of imagery used to convey the story.

Ideas were inspired by the words associated with resorts. After that, sketches were made for the layout of the pages, which were then digitized.

Final Solution

The variation with less white space is more effective because the project intended to let the visual do more storytelling.

Outcomes

This brochure effectively conveys the variety of accommodations, dining, activities, and entertainment available at Anam’s resort. Showcasing all that makes the project successful.

Final Learning

The resort challenge was a valuable learning experience for me as a designer. To effectively convey a message, good visuals are essential.
